A notarized translation is a document translation certified by a licensed Israeli notary (Notar). The notary verifies the translator’s identity and qualifications, then stamps and signs the translation to confirm its authenticity. This gives the translated document full legal standing in Israel, making it accepted by courts, government agencies, banks, and all other official institutions.
The cost consists of two parts: the translation fee (from 120 NIS depending on the document type) and the notarization fee (from 350 NIS). A typical single-page document like a birth certificate costs approximately 500 NIS total. We provide an exact quote within 15 minutes — free and without obligation.
Standard turnaround is 24 hours from order confirmation. For urgent requests, we offer express service with delivery in 2-3 hours (a 50% surcharge applies). Complex or lengthy documents may require 2-3 business days.
An apostille and a notarized translation are two different things. An apostille is an international certification confirming the authenticity of the original document, issued in the country where the document was produced. A notarized translation is a certified translation into another language. For most Israeli procedures, a notarized translation is sufficient. We will advise you whether an apostille is needed — free of charge.
